There was only one class in college that Kelly backed out of – glass blowing.  At that time she was fearful of the great amount of heat and the perceived “danger”.

Skip ahead 22 years and a chance to take a glass class through the Toledo Museum of Art’s docent program.  With fear gone, passion took over and Kelly has been a glass artist ever since.  After learning from some of the best in the glass community, Kelly now excels in many forms of glass.

Of all the forms, Kelly is best known for her painting on glass (vitreous enamels).  Her skills as a painter and drawer has been makes these two art forms to come together for some extraordinary art.
